Dear CYC members,

Welcome to the 118th year of operation at the Conanicut Yacht Club. We can look with pride at the number and quality of the many improvements recently completed. Our Clubhouse and Carriage House, our grounds, seawall, docks, tennis courts and paddle tennis courts have all been upgraded in one way or another. Many new program and service improvements have been adopted as well. Now we look forward to the coming season of active and enjoyable yachting, junior sailing, tennis, dining and social activities.

While this a financially challenging year for many, our Club is strong. We have nearly 350 family members in good standing, and committee leadership and participation is outstanding. In fact, the wide range of programs and activities for its members and youth that the Club offers is primarily due to the involvement and participation of so many enthusiastic and talented volunteers. Thanks to all of you.

Communication through our email and web site is regular and effective. Please check them out to review the schedules of the many events and activities going on.

Thanks also to our lively and responsive staff, who, under the direction of our able Club Manager, Barry Stacer, work hard to create a friendly, efficient and special atmosphere here.
