Important Upcoming Tennis Dates for your calendar:
July 31st Parent Child Round Robin
August 7th Junior Blue Water Tennis
August 13th, 14th, & 15th CYC Championships Tournament (The adults will play in the AM, and the juniors in the PM, over the three day period. To make it more condusive for everyones schedule, the finals will be on the 15th, and the tournament will not run over to the following weekend). Sign up at the Hut! 
 

What an absolutely fantastic group for a junior program (Ages 7 and up 10:15 -12:15 & 1-3 on M,T,T,F), and fun filled Fast Track Classes for the peewees (10:15-11 on M,W,F). Following it up in the evenings, we've had some great classes for the adults from 4-5:30 Monday - Thursday.

Friday July16th, we are introducing Teen Tennis on Fridays weekly from 5:30-7, a fun game oriented class for ages 14 and up only. It is a great way for everybody to get to know one another and hang out. First week is a trial, we do not require sign ups.  It is a drop in clinic only, so we hope to see everyone here to make it a big success and lots of fun. Candy for everyone who shows (Sssshhhh)!  
 
Starting Thursday July 22nd, every thursday for the rest of the summer we are adding an Invite Only Competitive Training class (C.T.). It is a performance based class (not age based). If you would like to be evaluated for C.T., you may do so during any other clinic, or in a private lesson. The requirements are that you must have the correct grips and the correct strokes from all positions on the court, as well as the strength and timing to control shot direction and depth.
 

Junior Interclub matches begin Wed July 7th. Mark the dates on your calenders, and make sure the kids sign up at the hut. We will meet as a team at 12:45 for Wednesday home matches which begin at 1:00. We will meet at 12:15 for away matches, and encourage any parents to speak with the tennis staff to assist with carpooling.

Club Policies: Due to numerous late cancelations and last minute changes for private lessons and clinics, the tennis staff is strictly enforcing our late cancelation policies.  
 

• Any Cancelations or changes for the junior clinics must be made by no later than 5 PM on the Friday prior to the clinic.   
• All private lessons booked in advanced and adult clinics will have a strict 24 hr. cancelation policy.
• This year our staff is dedicated to preserving the quality of the courts. If you've been playing we hope you notice the difference. This is a result of hard work from our staff, and the ability to do maintenance mid-day and in the evenings.  We will be doing maintenance from 12-1 on weekdays, and 1-2 on weekends, and 7-8 PM daily. For those members who enjoy playing late in the evenings, we will do our best to accommodate by finishing all the other courts (as well as all other maintenance) first. If at that point, you would prefer to keep playing and sweep your own court when finished, we will gladly allow you to do so, we just want to warn you the sprinklers are set to go off at 8:30 PM sharp. Thanks for your help and consideration.
