Junior Sailing Instructors

CYC's Junior Sailing program always has a great group of instructors each summer.

Those interested in becoming a junior instructor for the summer of 2023 should contact Meg in the Fall of 2022. Junior instructors must be age 16 or older.

Anyone aged 15 or younger who may be interested in becoming a junior instructor is not paid and must help with Monday Night Racing off the Dock from 4:00-6. He/she will be required to sail with other kids learning to sail and to race. It is helpful if he/she has his/her RI Safe Boating License (to drive a motorboat) as well.
